Obituary: Lula Jackson, 84, of the Sano Community Mrs. Jackson leaves a large family. She was a member of the Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Union Underwear Lula Jackson, 84, formerly of 1034 Sano Road (the Sano Community) passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 2:30pm CT, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY after an illness. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 22, 2006, at 11:00am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Garnett Hammond the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late W. W. and Alice Grider Sinclair of Adair County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Jackson on September 5, 1997. She is survived by the following:
Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Union Underwear. She was a member of the Sano Stars Homemaker Club. The family request visiting after 1:00pm CT, on Friday, July 21, 2006, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
