Obituary, Bill McClister, 74

Bill McClister, 74, Jamestown, KY, formerly of Adair County, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at 4:25pm CT, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 3, 2006, at 10:30am CT, at McClister Cemetery, with Bro. Curtis Ballenger officiating. Visitation will be after 8:30am CT, Monday, July 3, 2006, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.


He was the son of the late Ray and Elmer Petty McClister.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty McClister.

He is survived by the following:
  • Six sons: Terry, garnett, and Jason McClister, all of Cundiff, KY; and Anthony, Andy, and Allen McClister, all of Jamestown, KY

  • Five daughters: Gail Huddleston, Cundiff, KY; Sandra Wheeler and Rhonda McClister, both of Jamestown, KY; Crystal George, Russell Springs, KY; and Gina Schorman, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Robert McClister, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Zelpha Wheeler, Columbia, KY

  • And 24 grandchildren
He was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Ray and Billy Joe McClister; two brotherws and sisters, Garnett and Bryce McClister, and Buene Woods and Nola Melson, and by a grandchild.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
