Adair Arts Council meets Thursday, public invited

The Adair Arts Council will meet Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Trabue-Russell House at 6 p.m. At the last meeting, individuals divided into special-interest teams to brainstorm about an event in each area for the coming year. That is where this meeting will pick up.

This season of the Arts Council is devoted to development of a strong organizational base. Board members are being recruited and membership is opening up. The public is invited to get involved.

We believe that every single child is born with a gift that, if identified early, if fanned with a little help from family and community, can help the child move more smoothly into successful lifes work and contribution.

If the child in you is saying, "that's for me", we hope to see you Thursday.
