2006 Relay of Life Schedule starts Friday noon Event goes through dawn Saturday morning, June 10, 2006. There's a choke in the throat just reading and reflecting on the list of events. Please read the entire schedule. Make plans to attend. And send in last-minute donations to set another record. Answer the Adair County Relay for Life's call to "Help Us Help Save Lives." You can be a hero, too! Give or add to your donation(s). If you would like to help the Adair County Relay for Life help save lives by donating generously or to sponsor a luminary in honor of or memory of a loved one, please contact Barbara Shepherd at (270) 384-5163, Peggy Lawson at (270) 384-4501 or Angie Dean at (270) 384-6433. Luminaries are $5 for each name. The 2006 Adair County Relay for Life will culminate Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10, 2006, with a schedule of events unlike anything in Adair County, as the committee and the teams race to top last year's almost $80,000 total. From the preliminary campsite check-in, Chair Peggy Lawson's closing prayer, there will be 18 hours which bring Adair County together as possibly no other event does. Wherever you are, if you're an Adair Countian, this one is worth a homecoming to Columbia. Out-of-town media, including Tv stations, have been alerted to cover still mysteriously secret 9:00pm guest speaker. Relay officials guardedly will only say,"You won't want to miss this." We believe them, measuring by the quality of other events. The schedule details follow. 2006 RELAY FOR LIFE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, June 9, 2006.
