Glenn R. Willis, 58, Vietnam veteran 82nd Airborne Division soldier passes away at Veteran's Hospital, Louisville Glenn R. Willis, 58, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006, at the Veteran's Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Evan Willis, in 1983 and his wife, Connie Smith Willis, in 2005. Survivors include a son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons, Brian, Lisa, Derek and Dillon Willis, all of Columbia. He is further survived by his mother, Bertha Breeding Willis, Hodgenville KY, two sisters, Reba Stewart, Louisville, KY; and Elizabeth Grubbs of Hodgenville, KY; two brothers, Bobbie C. Willis of Columbia, KY; and Danny M. Willis, Louisville, KY. He will also be greatly missed by his neices, nephews, and many friends.
