Changes are ongoing to list presentation
The mail on Saturday evening, May 27, 2006, brought three more contributions with many more names added to the list of Adair County Veterans

Joe Hare sent a long list of names, and a greatly appreciated suggestion on making the list easier to read.

Part of his suggestion has been implemented. Stronger and additional headings have been added. Later, we'll make additional changes to make the list easier to scan. Joe Hare wrote,"Yea, your list needs lots of help. By conflict or alpha order would be great."

He lists the following additions: "WW II: Lacy Hare, Harlan Hare; KOREAN CONFLICT: J. W. Noe; VIETNAM CONFLICT: Jerry Turner, Donald Ray White, Frankie McGowan KIA; Joe Hare, Dean Beard, Ronnie Sneed, Donnie Sneed; CONFLICT UNKNOWN: Gaither Hancock, Doug Hare, Albert Lewis Woodrum, Mason Smith." -JLH.

Judy Giles added her father's name. She wrote: "My Dad, C.W. Grant served in the Navy during WWII"

And Laura Burress sent three names: Her husband, Wally Burress; and two great uncles who served in World War II, Edwin Downey and Murlin Collins.
