Guy C. Moss, 83, WWII Veteran, former Gas Superintendent Mr. Moss was Superintendent of Columbia Utilities Gas Department for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, a lifetime member of the VFW, and an avid fisherman. Guy C. Moss, 83, 329 Harvey ST, Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at 9:50pm, at the Russell County Hospital. The funeral service will be Friday, May 19, 2006 at 2pm at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Dwight Forderhase officiating. Mr. Moss was a son of the late Walter E. and Ida Vera Gibson Moss. He was retired from Columbia Utilities Commission after a career of 27 years. For many of those years he was the superintendent of the gas department. His military career included service in the US Army Air Corps. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6079, Columbia, KY, and was a member of the DAV. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Jenny) Wilson Moss , and the following:
