Evelyn Lemmon, 85, formerly of Pellyton Community Mrs. Lemmon leaves a large family. She was a member of the Caldwell Chapel Separate Baptist Church. Evelyn Lemmon, 85, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. formerly of the Pellyton Community in Adair County, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 2:45 a.m. at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY. The Funeral service Thursday, May 11, 2006, at 10:00 a. m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Troy Long the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Pellyton Cemetery. She was a member of Caldwell Chapel Separate Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Lemmon was the daughter of the late Cicero Bethel and Callie Melvina Price Badger. She was the widow of Henry Hollis Lemmon, who preceded her in death on August 26, 1966. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanetta Lemmon, and two brothers, Dallas Leonard and Delmer Lee Badger. She is survived by the following:
