Lisa Fisher interviews Tara Elizabeth Conner on WAIN WAIN plans rebroadcast of interview; will announce schedule; Links with this story By Linda Waggener Tara Elizabeth Conner, the reigning Miss America USA, paid a call-in visit to area listeners this morning in conversation with Lisa Fisher on WAIN. The interview was about 10 minutes long. For those who heard it, you'll likely agree it was something you are glad you didn't miss. For those who missed the interview, Lisa Fisher says that she is discussing a re-broadcast of the interview with Station Manager Louise Wooten. "We'll certainly try to replay the interview before the Miss Universe Pageant," Lisa said.We'll post the time as soon as we're notified. Tara Conner shared details of life in New York In her interview with Lisa Fisher, Tara Elizabeth shared details about her apartment in Trump Tower in New York along with tidbits about stars she has met so far and the wonderful chaos in her life since she was crowned Miss USA. Her workday begins early with interviews like the one this morning and ends around twelve hours later. Wishes, right now, that she could take a breath of Kentucky air Tara told Lisa that while New York is exciting and she is having a wonderful time, she misses home and wishes she could just take in a breath of Kentucky air. They spoke of her goal to work in the television industry and one of her prizes which is a one-year scholarship to the New York City School of Film and Television. Tara says she is thrilled about that benefit. The next step for her will be to compete for Miss Universe in the pageant coming up in July and Tara says she will be working hard to prepare for that.
