The nine were inducted on April 23 into the Alpha Kappa Phi chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society.

The nine students were: Normaida Bright Carmona of Elkhorn, Ky.; Letha Catron of Hopkinsville, Ky.; Abby Downs of Louisville, Ky.; Danielle Rash Lott of Erlanger, Ky.; Adam Redmon of Russell Springs, Ky.; Harvey Schulist of Columbia; Tamera Scull of Owensboro, Ky.; Monica Spencer of Columbia; and Justin Wilson of Hawesville, Ky.
