Two injury accidents in Casey CO, Thursday, April 20, 2006
A one car accident on KY 70, four miles west of Liberty on KY 70, resulted in injuries to the driver, Ashley Wethington, 19, Liberty, KY, who was transferred to UK Hospital. She was operating a 1997 Pontiac eastbound on KY 70 at 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, April 20, 2006. Ms. Wethington lost control in a curve and overturned. The vehicle came to a rest off the westbound roadway. No seatbelt was in use. Trooper Jeremy Johnson of Kentucky State Police Post 15 investigated the accident. A one car injury accident occurred Thursday, April 20, 2006, on KY 49, two miles north of Liberty, KY, resulting in injury to the driver. Susan Hatfield, 54, Liberty, KY, was treated and released at the Liberty hospital. A seatbelt was in use. She was operating a 2003, southbound on KY 49, lost control in a curve due to the wet roadway.
