LWC drama group will present seven performances of Rumplestiltskin

LWC Theater Class presents play April 24, 25, 2006 at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., Central Time; and Tuesday night, April 25 at 7:00 p.m.
By Susan Minton
Rumplestiltskin is a mischievous, power hungry wizard. He learns that in order to obtain his power he must possess a royal child.

Rumplestiltskin sees his chance in the miller's daughter, Laura. The kingdom is poor and the queen is looking for a fix.

When Laura begins to "spin" straw into gold, the queen thinks she has found the solution to the kingdom's problems. While at the castle, Laura meets Prince William. They fall in love and the rest is history.

The fun and exciting adaptation of the classic fairy tale we all know is great for anyone age 1 to 99.

There will be seven performances in two days for surrounding schools.

Admission will be the low and kid friendly price of $2.

All the plays will be held at Trinity Family Life Center on KY 55, North in Columbia, KY, across from Betty's OK Country Cooking.

Also there will be a night performance open to the general public on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
