All three drivers injured in mid-morning incident on KY 90


Driver crosses center line, strikes vehicle, then a second
A three-vehicle accident at mid-morning, Monday. on KY 90 result in injuries to three drivers, one of whom was flown to the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.


A 1992 Chevrolet two-door, operated by 46, Monticello, was travelling eastbound on KY 90, and crossed the centerline.

The Stinson vehicle struck a 2003 Kenworth tractor/trailer operated by Harold Slavey, 34, Pine Knot, KY.

The Stinson vehicle continued on and struck a 1988 Chevrolet pickup operated by George Pennycuff, 36, Albany, KY.

One flown to UK, other drivers treated in Albany, KY

Chris Stinson was flown to UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was not belted.

Harold Slavey, the semi-driver, was treated and released at Clinton County Hospital in Albany, KY. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

George Pennycuff was treated and released at Clinton County Hospital, Albany, KY. He was belted.

The accident was investigated by Trooper B. Stotts of the Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
