Investigation continues into fatal, early morning Casey Fire


Autopsy was scheduled in Frankfort today

A fire at 12:30 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2006, in a mobile home has resulted in the death of a Casey County man.

Units from East Casey County Fire Department, the Casey County Coroner's office, Kentucky State Fire Marshal, and Kentucky State Police responded to the fire, three miles north of Middleburg on KY 198.


Larry G. Rowland, 52, Middleburg, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Casey County Coroner.

An autopsy was scheduled for today in Frankfort.

The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.

Det. Alex Wesley of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, participated in the action.
