Catherine Wilson Center, Adair Women plant seeds for the future ByEmily Fryman frymane@lindsey.edu COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson Colleges Catherine Wilson Center and Adair County High School students planted 30 trees around Lindsey Wilsons main campus Wednesday, March 29. The girls planted trees for the conservation program, "Adair County Girls: Planting the Seed for the Future of Kentucky Women." "The goal of the program was to draw attention to the promise of a brighter future for the young women of Kentucky," said Wendy Benningfield, director of the Catherine Wilson Center. "The planting of each tree symbolizes the commitment of each girl to embed her future in Adair County. Also, each tree represents the commitment of the Catherine Wilson Center and Lindsey Wilson College to the community." Direct comments are not available.
