Joseph Robert Simpson, 72, former Adair and Green resident

Services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home for Joseph Robert Simpson, 72, who passed away Sunday in Indianapolis. He was a son of the late Charles Edward and Nettie Mae Keen Simpson and was raised by the late Orr Pierce.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: James Allen Simpson of Indianapolis, and Robert Lee Simpson and his wife Cassie of Greenwood, IN

  • Two daughters: Barbara Lee Pryor of Altoona, PA and Peggy Koelling andher husband Kenny of Danville, IN

  • Four brothers: L. C. Simpson of Campbellsville, Glen Oakely Simpson of Louisville, Jr. Lumpkin of Columbia and Chuck Simpson of New Carlisle, IN

  • Two sisters: Lorema Vice of IL and Genevieve Proud of OH

  • Seven grandchildren.
Visitation begins after 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Bro. Raymond Martin will officiate and burial will be in the Beulah Chapel Cemetery.
