Want to get involved with the 4-H Shooting Sports program? Adair County Shooting Sports Organizational Meeting for ages 9-18 By Tony Rose Adair County Extension Agent for 4-H/Youth Development The Adair County 4-H Program is in the process of reorganizing a Shooting Sports program. This program will be open to youth ages 9-18 of Adair County, who has an interest in shooting sports. Youth will learn about the many different aspects of shooting sports. If you would be interested in working with this program, there will be an Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2006. This meeting will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service office located at 409 Fairground Street in Columbia. This meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. Currently, we are able to offer two disciplines. The two disciplines are: 12 or 20 Ga. Trap and Riflery. If you have an interest in getting involved in any one of these two disciplines then you need to attend this meeting with a parent or guardian. This meeting will begin the re-organization of an Adair County 4-H Shooting Sports Club. If you have any questions or are unable to attend this meeting and you are interested in the working with this shooting sports program feel free to call me at (270) 384-2317 or stop by and see me at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service.
