Blanche Harvey, 68, member of Baptist faith

Mrs. Harvey was employed by Houchens for a number of years
Blanche Harvey, 68, 256 Thompson-Harvey Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 11:37 p.m., at the Medco Nursing Home in Campbellsville, KY, after several months illness.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 12, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster and Bro. Roy Phillips officiating.

She was the daughter of the late Richard Washington and Dora Kay Bradshaw Sneed of Adair County, KY.

Mrs. Harvey was of the Baptist faith and was employed by Houchens for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Benton Harvey, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Danny and his wife, Rita Harvey, Columbia, KY; and Steve and his wife, Angela Harvey, also of Columbia, KY

  • One sister; Brenda Coomer, Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Jessica Harvey, Brian Harvey, and Taylor Harvey
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Milltown Church RD just off West KY 80, Gradyville, KY.

The family requests visitation after 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
