Cranmer Dining Center to raise money for their program. Money earned through the roller ride fund raiser will provide scholarship funds, bicycle parts, tools, and supplies for cyclists on their trips. Every member of the cycling team will participate, and riders will switch every few hours. Roller ride was started in 1998 The roller ride is a fund raiser we have been a part of since 1998, said Jenifer Huff, Lindsey Wilson cycling coach. It has been very important to the team as it supports our spring season of road racing and also gives our team exposure to those who may not be familiar with our program. Lindsey Wilson started its cycling program in 1996. Today, the team consists of 35 students that compete in mountain biking, cyclo-cross and road racing. Cyclist have won national awards, championships The team has won several accomplishments, including: Midwest Conference, Regional mountain bike titles, National Collegiate Cycling Association mountain nationals podium placement, Cross Nationals Champions, and several individual championships and All-American honors. Our athletes give 100 percent of themselves to their education and to their racing, Huff said. We are very thankful for those all gifts and to those that continually contribute. The Roller Ride will be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 8, in front of Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.
