Planning & Zoning meeting to decide Dry Cleaners' request delayed

City Clerk Carolyn Edwards has announced that a Columbia Planning & Zoning (P&Z) meeting to decide the outcome of a request for a zoning change at 503 Greensburg ST, earlier announced for 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2006, has been changed.

The meeting will be held two weeks later, at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006.


The earlier date had been announced by Acting P&Z Chairman V.T. Yarberry at the close of a hearing on the proposed change for the property on February 20, 2006.

However, Clerk Edwards said, new items are being added to the agenda and it has been postponed until March 16.

An announcement of the new date and the agenda is expected to be complete on Thursday, March 2, 2006 the city clerk said.
