Cyrus / Breeding High School Commencement, 1949

Sanford Hurt headed the Breeding School in 1949

Eight Graduate At Breeding High

Commencement exercises at the Breeding High School will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, according to a recent announcement by Sanford Hurt, principle.

James Breeding is the Salutatorian and Miss Margaret Estes is class Valedictorian. Both will deliver addresses.

Others in the class of eight graduates are: L.V. Hale, Joe Allen Firquin, Kay Dunbar, Carl Bean, Owen Fudge and Helen Sparks.

Hon. John M. Carter, president of Campbellsville College, will deliver the commencement address and there will be music by the Campbellsville College Band.

Rev. Reid Thompson will give the Invocation and the Benediction will be by Rev. M.B. Hodges.
