COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College hosted a Career Awareness Day on Thursday, February 23, in Biggers Sports Center.

A total of 22 employers set up displays and interacted with Lindsey Wilson undergraduate and graduate students. Vendors included the Kentucky State Police, Spectrum Care Academy, and area public school systems, childrens camps and Northwestern Mutual insurance company.

Career Exploration Adviser Danielle Oldham said the event is a good way for students to find a career after graduation. Career Awareness Day is beneficial for all students, from freshmen to seniors, she said. Students gain experience talking with employers and get a chance to possibly secure a job for the future.
