Jimmy Dunbar, 73, Russell County, KY (1951-2024) Jimmy G. Dunbar, 73, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at TJ Sampson Community Hospital, Glasgow, KY. He was born in Russell Springs, KY on March 30, 1951, a son of the late Malzora (Bernard) and James (Jim) B. Dunbar. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired factory worker. Jimmy is survived by: His wife, Wanda (Scott) Dunbar, of Jamestown, KY Four sons Todd Dunbar (Mandi), of Jamestown, KY, Derick Foley (Jennifer), of Lexington, KY, Charlie Bryant (Laurie), and Jeffery Bryant, both of Liberty, KY. Three sisters, Nora Fryman, of Jamestown, KY, Dianna Hughes (Ronnie), of Russell Springs, KY, Brenda Hudson (Bobby), of Russell Springs, KY. Three brothers, Billy Dunbar (Ann), of Mt. Juliet, TN, Johnny Dunbar (Marlene), of Somerset, KY, Bobby Dunbar (Debbie), of Russell Springs, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be held 1pmCT Tuesday, August 13th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro's Ethan West, Eric Richardson, Bobby Dunbar, Billy Dunbar, and Johnny Dunbar officiating. Friends may visit 10 to 1 Tuesday, August 13th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY. Honorary pallbearers: Todd Dunbar, Butch Bernard, Shawn Coffey, Derick Foley, Jamey Hillock and Jeron Dunbar. Family request donations to the Russell County Honor Guard, P.O.
