Boyd Thomas Curry, 81, Greensburg, KY (1943-2024)

Boyd Thomas Curry of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Boyce Curry and Magaline Rose Curry, was born on Monday, March 22, 1943 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his home. He was 81 years, 3 months, and 15 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was a carpenter for many years and enjoyed doing his garden work every year and was always taking things from it to his neighbors and friends. He also enjoyed raising tobacco. He was always very blessed with all things. He always said if it still works, we don't need another one.

Survived by his wife: Cora Lee Sublett Curry of Greensburg, having united in marriage on May 5, 1967.

Other survivors include three children and their spouses: Melissa and Steve Stearman of Summersville, Timmy and Patty Curry of Black Gnat, April and Trey Ball of Campbellsville; grandchildren: Destiny Durrett, Logan Stearman, Lylah Curry, Kaitlyn Curry, Hayden Ball, Madison Ball; a brother and sister-in-law: Dennis and Regina Curry of Greensburg; a sister: Linda Mitchell of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Bobby Gene and Barbara Jo Curry; a brother-in-law: Mark Mitchell.

There will be graveside services for Boyd Thomas Curry held at 3:30pmCT Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Greasy Creek Church Cemetery. Bro. Brian Estes officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the service arrangements.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation the Gideon Bible Fund or Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
