Rachel Lea, 82, Adair County, KY native

Beloved mother, Rachel Lea, sadly passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 82. she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Baker of Columbia, Kentucky, mother of Debra Lea and Robert Lea.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when needed, offering support, care, wisdom, and love in abundance to us and many families in need in the community.

A friend to many and a cherished in-home child caregiver, she touched many lives, fostered many babies, and cared for many children in her lifetime. Rachel was married to her husband, Harold Lea, 47 years.

She was grandmother to Robert Jr., Chelsea, Jonathan, Rachel, and Amber Rose. Harold preceded her in death in 2006. She was a woman of faith who taught her children to love God and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park, FL. and a devoted Sunday School Teacher; she loved children and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She will forevermore be missed.

The services to honor and celebrate Rachel's life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 1pmCT, at the Graveside at Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Kentucky, so the family can share in the memories and comfort one another. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
