Ida Shearer, 55, Columbia, KY (1968-2024) Ida Lynn Shearer of Columbia died on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 2:10 A.M. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 55 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, with full military honors presented by V.F. W. Post 6097. Visitation is requested after 5pmCT on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born August 28, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late David Lee and Charlotte Kay Tackett Shearer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Shearer. Ida was a member of Sparksville Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Mental Health Therapist. Survivors include:
