2024-05-12 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Vicky Pike of Miss Vicky's Pampered Angus Ranch.
The Mid-State Transfer Station, L Willis Rd, Columbia, was a busy place Friday and Saturday. Everything that was not needed had a place to go to help citizens of Adair County clean things up around farms, homes and businesses.

For next time, this is a list of the few things not allowed: Tires, Dirt (Silage Plastic), Wet Drywall, Manure, Dead Animals, Concrete, Rocks, Stacks of lumber, Steel cables, Burn Barrels, Capacitors, Hazardous Chemicals, and Tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane). For additional information, contact Judge Executive Larry Russell Bryant's Office Monday-Friday at 270-384-4703.
