Shannon Lee McKinney Curry, Exie, KY (1970-2024)

Shannon Lee McKinney Curry of the Exie Community, daughter of the late Marvin Troy Scott and Carol Sue McKinney Scott, was born on Friday, September 25, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2024 at her home. She was 53 years, seven months, and eight days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Community Baptist Church.


Survivors include her husband: Milburn Curry of Exie; a son: Noah Curry of Green County; her grandmother: Nadine McKinney of Greensburg; a special dog: Oliver; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Skyler Paije Lee Curry on September 5, 2015.

A Graveside Service for Shannon Lee McKinney Curry will be conducted at 11amCT, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Mark Lile officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
