Judy Lynn Durrett, 72, Green County, KY (1952-2024) Judy Lynn Milby Durrett of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Alva Milby and Mabel Smith Milby, was born on Wednesday, April 9, 1952 and departed this life on May 2, 2024 at her home. She was 72 years and 23 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she had many roles. She served as the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Group President, the church decorator, Vacation Bible School Director, and Youth Leader with her husband, Mike. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mike Durrett of Summersville, having united in marriage on May 20, 1973. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Casey and Andrea Durrett of Summersville; a daughter and son-in-law: Sherri and Jeremy Caulk of Green County; three grandchildren: Alasya Durrett, Tatum Durrett both of Summersville, Tatum Caulk of Green County; a brother: Doug Milby of Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a stillborn daughter: Kristy Lynn; three sisters: Geneva Milby, Marjorie Young, Mary Milby; and three brothers: Gary Milby, Elbert Milby, Kenneth Milby. The funeral services for Judy Lynn Milby Durrett will be conducted at 2pmCT, Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Casey Durrett, Bro. Blake Durrett, and Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
