Marilyn Coffey, 86, Adair County, KY (1938-2024) Marilyn Sparks Coffey, 86,of the Montpelier community, died Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was member of the former Pleasant Hill Christian Church and most recently attended Russell Springs Christian Church. She retired from Farm Credit Services in Columbia and Campbellsville after 32 and a half years as Office Manager. She was born January 21, 1938, in Glens Fork, to the late Henry L. "Dick" and Nellie Murrell Sparks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl M. Coffey on March 23, 2024 and the following siblings, Madeline Loy, Maxine Ulery, Margaret McFarland, Marcella Mudd, Montford Maylon Sparks. Survivors include: One son - Shannon "Radar" Coffey (Michelle) of Franklin, Indiana Two grandchildren - Alexis Carrillo (Justin) and Sawyer Coffey One great-grandchild - Rory Carrillo Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law - Gene and Lillie Coffey, Ada Coffey, Carl and June Coffey, Guinda and Bobby Miller, Ina Smith Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Funeral service - Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro.
