CACVFD: Structure Fire on Dwight Curry Road From Grant Loy, Public Information Officer Columbia Adair County Fire Department The Columbia - Adair County Fire Department was dispatched to 390 Dwight Curry Road at 0107 hours on Thursday morning, May 2, 2204, for report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a shed type structure fully engulfed with heavy fire conditions. Firefighters then made an attack on the fire and quickly extinguished the fire. The fire had spread from a controlled burn that the homeowner had started earlier in the evening. The structure was deemed a total loss. There were 14 firefighters on scene for approximately 1.5 hours. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. Assisting Agencies included Adair County E911 Center and the Adair County Ambulance Service. This story was posted on 2024-05-02 21:02:54
