2024 Primary Election information From Lisa Greer Adair County Clerk Kentucky's Primary Election will be held on May 21, 2024. Kentucky is a closed primary state, which means that voters must vote the party they are registered. If you are not sure of your party registration, or where to vote, you can review your voter registration information at Govote.ky.gov, or by calling the Adair Co. Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801. If you are unable to vote at the polls on Election Day, there are a few more days to request an Absentee Mail-in Ballot. An absentee mail-in ballot can be requested through the close of business on May 7, 2024, by calling the Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801, or before 11:59pmET on May 7, 2024 at Govote.ky.gov. Voters must have one of the designated reasons below to request an absentee Mail-In Ballot:
Ballots can be returned by mail or to the Ballot Drop-off Box located in the Adair County Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Ste3, Columbia KY, during normal business hours.
