Tracy York-Murrell, 39, Columbia, KY (1984-2024)

Tracy Lynn York-Murrell of Columbia died on Sunday, April 21, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident on Highway 55 in Taylor County. She was 39 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jamie Bryant and Bro. Mike Helm officiating.

Visitation is requested after 3pmCT on Thursday.


She was born October 9, 1984, in Adair County, to the late Phillip York and Pamela Kay Helm York. Tracy was a Home Resource Coordinator for Heritage Family Services in Campbellsville.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband - Cameron Murrell of Columbia
  • Her special children - Daezon Scholl of Greensburg and Jodessi Withaar of Chicago, Illinois
  • Her dad - Tim Baker (Vicki) of Columbia
  • Her mother-in-law - Michelle Bardin Kearney (Danny) of Columbia
  • Her father-in-law - Mike Murrell (Susan) of Richmond
  • Her God-send sister - Tabitha Hanley of Columbia
  • Her sisters-in-law - Cara Hardin (Josh) and their child, Everly and Chloe Murell all of Columbia
  • A host of cousins, other relatives, fur babies and friends
