CPD welcomes Officer Tyler McKinney By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department would like to welcome Tyler McKinney as our newest Officer. Mayor Pam Hoots swore in Officer McKinney on Monday morning, April 22, 2024, with friends and family in attendance. Officer McKinney is a 2016 graduate of Adair County High School. He is also a current member of the 617th Military Police Company with the Army National Guard. Officer McKinney will attend Department of Criminal Justice Training located in Richmond this Fall.
