Cybersecurity risk analysis available at no cost from CISA

Are your computers and phones secure from hackers? CISA is ready to help...

Colin Glover, Cybersecurity State Coordinator, was the guest speaker at Wednesday's Russell County Chamber of Commerce meeting. He represents the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Region 4, Kentucky.

Because it is paid for by tax dollars, there is no cost to businesses and organizations to ask for a CISA representative to come on location and conduct a no-cost risk analysis.

Glover shared several recommendations, including the need to create unique passwords for every account. He advised everyone to watch 60 Minutes Sunday, April 14, 2024 to get a full understanding of the staggering ransomware growth.

"Defend Today, Secure Tomorrow" is his motto. He helps people ask themselves and plan, "If you are hit by a cyber attack - how do you recover?"
