Sharon Watson, 77, Greensburg, KY (1946-2024)

Sharon Gupton Watson of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Everett Ezra Gupton and Violet Mossie Taylor Gupton, was born on Saturday, September 28, 1946, in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024. She was 77 years, 6 months, and 17 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She was a registered nurse for Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital and the former Westlake Regional Hospital 50 years of service.


Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert Lee "Bobby" Watson on March 28, 2018, having united in marriage on August 24, 1985.

Survived by two nieces: Georgietta and Hayden Johnson of Lebanon, Priscilla Berry of California; three nephews: Daryl and Sharon Berry of Paris, Kentucky, Rodney and Jeanie Berry of Morganfield, Kentucky, Jay and Melissa Williams of Tennessee; special friends: Patti and Bobby Durrett of Greensburg.

The funeral services will be conducted at 4pmCT Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Bro. Jason Shirrell and Bro. Keven Shirrell officiating. Visitation is requested after 2.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Green County Food Pantry, which can be made at the funeral home.
