Her creative mindset allowed her to accomplish anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed making pottery, crafts, and crocheting, just to name a few. Lula loved karaoke and was a huge Elvis fan. Lula is survived by her three children, James (and Michelle) Pettey, Reg Pettey, and Audra Roberts, all of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Shelbie (and Coty) Landis, of Columbia, and Andrea (and Matt) Esau, of Russell Springs; three great-grandchildren, Eli Landis, Reed Landis, and Brynn Esau; and two sisters, Neleta Clarkson, of Jamestown, and Nelda Walker, of Montana. In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Pettey; her two brothers, Victor Clarkson, and Curtis Clarkson; and one sister, Viola Thomas. A memorial service honoring Lula's life will be held at 5pmCT on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Wendell Roberts officiating.
