LETTER: She still remember's Grandma's wood cook and heating stove

Reader enjoys Cyrus' story on big snow of 1917-1918
Nothing can warm you up like wood heat
To the editor:
I enjoyed the story about the big snow and cold weather in 1917-1918.

My Daddy was born in August of 1917. I bet his mom sure piled the blankets on him.

I can only imagine the good old wood heating stove. I still miss my Grandma's wood cook and heating stove. Nothing can warm you up like wood heat. It can be a little messy but sure does feel good.

By the way my Daddy was the late Ruel Moss. He was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was such a good father and really loved his grandchildren.

He went to be with the Lord on December 1,1975. I still miss him so much.

Thank you for the story.
