Joe David Stephens, 82, Russell County, KY

Joe David Stephens, 82, of Russell Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at home.

He was born in Russell Springs, KY on March 6, 1942, a son of the late Lillian (McQueary) and Lee Stephens.


He was a carpenter.

He is survived by

wife Marie Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY

a daughter, Nancy Smith (Doug), of Russell Springs, KY;

a son, John Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY;

a sister, Mary Ann Gaskins, of Russell Springs, KY.

a brother, Roger Stephens, of Columbia, KY;

He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ronnie and Gerald Stephens.

Funeral Service will be held 1pmCT on Friday, April 12th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Garnett Hammond officiating. Friends may visit 11-1.

Burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens, Russell Springs, KY.
