Miranda Renea Matney Vaughn, 40, Greensburg, KY

Miranda Renea Matney Vaughn of Greensburg, daughter of Jeffrey Matney of Greensburg and the late Tammy Wilcoxson Stearman, was born on Tuesday, July 26, 1983 in Green County and passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She was 40 years, 8 months, and 14 days of age.

She is survived by her husband, Owsley Henderson Vaughn of Greensburg, having united in marriage on July 11, 2012.

Other survivors include two sisters: Cherita Matney of Columbia, Casey Matney (Jerry Pippin) of Greensburg; a half-brother: Blake Matney of Greensburg; a grandmother: Rosie Matney of Greensburg; nieces and nephews: Khyron Matney, Keylee Matney, Karson Wright, Kaydian Wright, Hunter Pippin, Jarrod Pippin, Kaitlyn Pippin.

Besides her mother, she was also preceded in death by her grandfather: Garland Matney.

There will be a graveside service held at 10amCT Friday, April 12, 2024 at Summershade Cemetery. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
