CYRUS: Time travel survey asks what you wish you had seen TIME TRAVEL POLL: "If you could go back in time to witness one Adair County event, what would you choose?" In its 200+ years of existence, Adair County has had more than its fair share of characters -- famous, infamous & otherwise -- and events -- good, bad, sad, horrific, humorous & mundane -- all of whom & all of which have shaped our own lives & deeds. We thought it might be fun to give our readers the opportunity to experience a bit of virtual time travel via this poll to witness some of these events & the characters involved.Note that the last item in the list is "other," and that by selecting it you may, via Submit a Story, submit your own favorite event. For example, if you're a romantic or a Twainophile, maybe you'd like to witness the marriage of Jane Lampton to that Clemons boy; if you're a genealogist, maybe you'd like to attend the big family reunion that was held back in '98 (1898, that is) to see who great-great Grandpa was courting at the time; or, you're an historian, maybe you'd like to witness what really happened when Champ Ferguson came to Columbia.
