Anderson Cemetery is site of Trabue and wife Mary

From Richard Phelps

The Anderson Cemetery is the site of the burial places of Daniel Trabue and wife, Mary. The goal was to find and restore the marker of Mary and place her stone moved beside her husband's. Daniel Trabue was a Kentucky Frontiersman, Revolutionary War Soldier and one of Columbia's founding Fathers.

This cemetery, located in the edge of Green and Adair County, is undergoing a renovation with the assistance of professional restorers Jill Halcomb Smith and Jeff Smith. The cemetery has long been maintained by Lloyd and Laura Mitchell Wilds.

Mary Trabue's stone is a newly reconstructed stone, probably missing for 100 years, broken into pieces and put together and re-erected by Heritage Tombstone Cleaning who did all the work. They restored several stones in that cemetery and did a great job on the work.
