Easter Egg Hunt enjoyed at new Adair Fairgrounds By Amanda Davis Page March 26, 2024 -- Wow! Another Adair County Fair Easter Egg Hunt is in the books! The weather was sunny, a little cool but still a fabulous turnout at the new fairgrounds! Nearly 200 kids came to hunt and take photos with the Easter Bunny. As usual hot dogs, water and the favorite for many - cotton candy was handed out after picking out prizes to take home. Grand prize drawings were for multiple Easter baskets, bicycles, scooters, and other toys. Other organizations that joined in the festivities were with Gideon Bible and Adair County Headstart. Makayla Janes with Wildflower Images took photos of the kids with the Easter Bunny and many other pictures of the event. The Adair County Fair wants to thank all those who attended and also everyone that helped out in some way! Also a big thanks to those who donated items for this event and the media who shares our efforts! This county never ceases to amaze us in how they come together to enrich the lives of the citizens who live here. Anyone interested in joining, volunteering or donating can contact our current President, Charles Grimsley, at 270-634-2253 or myself at 270-250-1327. We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6pmCT at 256 Industrial Park Road. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 401, Columbia, KY 42728. We usually put announcements/updates on our Facebook page under Adair County Fair. This story was posted on 2024-03-29 10:22:47
