Easter at the Capitol on Saturday

From Crystal Staley/James Hatchett

Frankfort, KY - On Saturday, March 23, from 2pmET to 5pmET, Gov. Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear will once again host Kentuckians at a family-friendly Easter celebration on the South Lawn of the Capitol, the green space directly behind the Capitol building and in front of the Capitol Annex in Frankfort, KY.

"Just like previous years, we're going to have great family fun activities, including an Easter egg hunt, crafts for kids, food trucks and, yes, a special appearance by the Easter Bunny," said Gov. Beshear. "For many Kentuckians, Easter is a time to reflect on sacrifice, hope and peace, and we are excited for the opportunity to gather as a community to celebrate brighter days ahead."

In addition to the fun activities, Brenneman & Bucks Farm, Lachos Taco Loco and Sweet G's Ice Cream will provide food onsite. Restrooms and picnic tables will be available for the public.
