Stephen L. Gadberry, 61, Columbia, KY (1962-2024) Stephen Lynn Gadberry Columbia passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his residence. He was 61 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson and Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the McClister Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Saturday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Columbia, KY on April 1, 1962, to the late Orville Denver "Dutch" Gadberry and Ethel Mae McClister Gadberry of Burkesville, KY who survives. Mr. Gadberry was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his mother he is survived by his companion of 42 years Deborah Bryant of Columbia, KY; a daughter Samantha Lynn Bryant (Christopher Gilbert) of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren Rickie Mae Bryant and Stevie Ray Gilbert; three sisters Judy Mings of Louisville, KY, Donna Bailey (Danny) of Columbia, KY, and Pam Prewitt (Rick) of Burkesville, KY; a sister-in-law Josephine Gadberry of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Gadberry and a brother-in-law J. C. Mings. Pallbearers will be Chris Gilbert, Blake Helm, Chris Wethington, Jeff Herron, Jonathan Vaughn, and Victor Vaughn. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
