Silas House Reading and Book-Signing at LWC

Silas House is coming to Adair County for a reading and book-signing from 2:30pmCT to 4pmCT on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the Slider Recital Hall V.P. Henry Auditorium at Lindsey Wilson College. This free event is open to the general public!

Silas House is currently the poet laureate of the state of Kentucky, and is a 2024 Grammy nominee for his writing of the Tyler Childers' music video "In Your Love".


House is an executive producer and one of the subjects of the documentary Hillbilly, which is now available on Hulu. The film won the Audience Award from the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Media Award from the Foreign Press Association.

As a music journalist, House works with artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Kris Kristofferson, Lucinda Williams, Jason Isbell, Senora May, Leann Womack, Charley Crockett, John R. Miller, and many others. House is also host of the popular podcast "On the Porch".
