Drive with caution on Hwy 704

From Josh Brockman, Adair County Sheriff

Ky 704 will be closed approximately 2 hours as a result of a dump truck overturning on roadway around 7 a.m. this morning. Emergency services are on scene and operator is receiving medical attention.

The blockage is about 1 mile from the city limits. We ask residents to seek alternative route to Columbia. Ky 768 to Ky 55 south is currently being used as alternative route. We hope to have roadway open by 9.
