The Battle is Won

By Daniel Hedges

On March the 9th, 2017 I penned the following letter:
I just wanted to take a minute and thank the community, school staff, and administration for the support during this season. Let me assure you that the coaching staff is greatly disappointed in the ending. A gut wrenching experience cannot start to describe the emotion of the last 48 hours. We wanted badly to take this community and school to the big house, where legends are made-RUPP! When Coach Breeze and I arrived two years ago, that was the goal. We are proud of the kids and they are a great bunch! We will press forward until the battle is won! Go Indians!
I am happy to say we kept fighting and battling. Tears of sadness are now tear of joy. The battle has been won! See you at Rupp! ROLL TRIBE!
