Cheerleading: LWC finishes 8th at MSC Championship

The Lindsey Wilson cheerleading team finished eight at the Mid-South Conference Cheerleading Championship Saturday at Bowling Green Arena.

This year's competition was comprised of two rounds. The first round was a preliminary worth 25 percent of the overall championship score while the second round was a finals round worth 75 percent of the total score.

The Blue Raiders scored 70.64 in the prelims competition this morning. Lindsey Wilson then had a score of 70.38 in the final round to finish with a total score of 70.45.


Cumberlands (KY) won the event with a score of 93.66 while Georgetown (KY) finished runner-up with a score of 92.04. Midway (KY) took third with a total of 81.49.

The results close out the Lindsey Wilson cheer schedule for the 2024 season.
