CPD: Injury wreck on Burkesville Street By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident with injury on Burksville Street on Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2024. Jack Antle, 67, was operating a Ford Ranger crossing Burksville Street from Will Walker Road to Patricia Trail when he crossed into the direction of travel of Ricky Lawson, 64, who was operating a Chevy Suburban northbound on Burksville Street. Antle was transported by Adair EMS to TJ Health Columbia and was later flown to Vanderbilt for treatment. Lawson was taken to TJ Health Columbia by personal vehicle where he was treated and released. Officer Joey Keith is the investigating Officer. He was asssited on scene by Officer Jay Wilson, Adair Fire Department and Adair EMS also responded. This story was posted on 2024-03-08 08:25:33
